- The executive producer of Weeds, Jenji Kohan, has is working on a new series to air on Showtime and Lionsgate TV. Kohan will executive produce and co-write Ronna and Beverly, a new comedy project along with actor-writers Jessica Chaffin (The Mighty B, Zoey 101) and Jamie Denbo (Reno 911), reports Variety. Ronna and Beverly is based on a comedy sketch that Chaffin and Denbo created and performed.
